Both parent strains are well-known for their unique flavor and aroma, and although not as pungent, Candy Kush has a pleasant, sweet smell, reminiscent of an old-fashioned sweet shop. Although used by some for recreational purposes, the buds are often prescribed for people suffering from depression, stress and anxiety, due to it's strong cerebral high and powerful 'body-stone,'  aiding rest and relaxation.

The dominant Indica genes produce a bushy, dense plant, reaching approximately 1.5 meters tall with an abundance of strong side-branches when fully mature. Training and super-cropping techniques work well, reducing height issues and helping to increase the total overall yield.

As you would expect from an Indica dominant strain, flowering times are short, with the plants requiring between 7 - 9 weeks of a regular 12/12 photo-period to develop and mature when grown indoors. Harvesting outdoors depends largely upon the location, but generally, they will achieve peak maturity around late September and the first weeks of October.

Yields vary, depending upon growing experience and techniques, but indoor growers can expect approximately 14 ounces of high quality buds per square meter, while outdoors, the plants are capable of producing up to 17 ounces from each individual seed.
